For the purpose of international price comparison, the National Institute of Health Insurance Fund Management (NEAK) has published the following list of reimbursed drugs in Hungary, with prices reported in Euros. Due to the volatility of the HUF/EUR exchange rate, the calculated exchange rate is based on the average of the 72 months preceding the month of publication. Current exchange rates can cause differences that may not be realized in practice. The drug list is updated twice a year to reflect HUF and exchange adjusted price changes, in addition to publish newly reimbursed and delisted drugs.
